Giveaway Embroidery E-Book

September 22, by Shellie Wilson. 98 Comments

Giveaway– 120 Embroidery Stitches by Kelly Fletcher: A how-to guide for
hand embroidery 120 Embroidery Stitches is an ebook of written and illustrated instructions for
120 surface embroidery stitches, from all-over stitch to zigzag back stitch.

It’s divided into eight chapters or stitch families and is ideal for beginners just
learning to embroider as well as more advanced embroiderers who want to
explore more complex or unusual stitches.

The PDF format is super convenient. You can store it on your phone or tablet for
stitching on the go, or print it out and bind it – the ebook is set up for printing on
A4 or US letter-sized paper on a home printer.

Kelly began embroidering about 14 years ago and sold her first pattern online in
2009. Since then, she has authored a book titled Embroidered Home, contributed
a number of projects to books and magazines around the world and designed
several kits for a US publisher. She has more than 100 hand embroidery patterns
available in her online shop.

120 Embroidery Stitches is her latest offering and contains every stitch used in
her designs so far. There are also eight sampler patterns that accompany the
ebook, one for each stitch family. You can read more about them here.

If you’d like a chance to win a copy of this ebook, as well as a PDF pattern of your
choice, leave a comment below by October 20th.

The ebook and digital pattern will be
emailed to the winner, so you can enter no matter where in the world you might
live.
Good luck!

My mother embroidered and sewed, my grandmother embroidered and crocheted so I figured I should (really) learn to embroider in addition to all my other crafts.

Learning to embroider would enhance my pillows and quilts. I have been wanting to try a sampler for a while. The ones Kelly has on her website look easier for a beginner to do than others. Good luck to everyone!

I would really love to learn how to do more than just a running stitch and a cross stitch but can’t afford to have lessons. Anything that needs decorating ends up with a purchased applique or ribbons because my embroidery skills are terrible
