Great idea: Painted batting

Patricia Eaton of Bird Nest on the Ground is showing off a technique that I have to try! She creates backgrounds for embroidered scenes by painting quilt batting. The surface cuddles up to the stitching in much the same way that wool felt does. Brilliant. Get all the details from Pat’s post.
