I have Internet! It’s true! I can hardly believe it. After nearly a month of bad weather, mix-ups, and dealing with cranky service personnel, I finally have an at-home connection again. I’m so glad to be back in cyberland, I keep jumping up and happy dancing circles around my computer.
Actually, my service was restored yesterday. We were having bad weather again – accumulating ice – but I was a little testy when they suggested postponing my installation. (This would have been my fourth failed appointment.) So a couple of great guys came out and tromped around in the freezing rain for hours to make sure I got a connection this time. And five minutes after they left, my power went out. Seriously. I laughed so hard, I gave myself the hiccups.
Today is cold and rainy but not freezing, and I’m home and cozy, so I’m going to try to catch up a bit. I should warn you that I have 1,561 posts waiting for me in my blog reader. Really. It’s going to take me a while to go through them. But I’ll get caught up and back in the groove as quickly as I can. I can’t wait to see what juicy tidbits I’ve been missing and to share them with you.
