Help Christie help others

November 20, 2011 by Denise Felton Leave a Comment

Christie of The Fabric Shopper invites us all to participate in a raffle to support a remarkable cause. She says it’s

a community outreach program that will provide opportunities for youth (and adults) to have a safe place to come, hang out, learn some crafting/sewing skills, fellowship, and more or less have a sanctuary where they can go to be involved in activities that will help keep them from drugs, gangs, and every other horrible thing kids have to face in a town that is on the decline.

She asks,

If you would consider donating any fabric, patterns, publications, sewing supplies, or gift certificates, end products, no matter how big or small that I might pull them together to create raffle prizes, I would be so very and sincerely appreciative. The raffle will be held online via The Fabric Shopper .  All contributors will recognized on the blog for their help.

Get the details from Christie’s blog post.
