April 16, 2021 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Once you have made some wire stumpwork flower petals, what do you do with them?  How to you attach them to your canvas design?  This tutorial from Sew in Love demonstrates what you need to know.

You will find information on adding beading to the project and adding wires to the canvas so that you can add your petals.  After putting in all of that work to make your flowers, you don’t want them to fall off, so the instructions in the tutorial are very helpful.

Along with the descriptions, the step by step photos help demonstrate the process.

Stumpwork adds an entirely different dimension to embroidery projects and brings additional interest to a design.  It is definitely worth a try if you want to add a new technique to your embroidery reperetoire.
