We all have those wooden embroidery hoops. They are nice and they serve their purpose, but let’s be honest, they are fairly plain. Well, Amy from Amy Love to Sew demonstrates how to turn that simple embroidery hoop into something completely different.
You only need to look at the photo to see what a difference adding bias tape to the outside of a hoop makes. With this method, you can match your hoops to whatever project you are working on. It’s a fantastic idea.
The best part is that there are really no special tools required, just an embroidery hoop, bias tape, glue and some clothes pins or clips to keep the glued binding in place while it dries.
