A Needlework reader wrote in and asked me to find a tutorial for Embroidering on a paper towel and or toilet paper rolls. Like a good Editor I set out on a mission to find a good tutorial and here it is.
BUT, why ? what is the purpose of this effort? Why do people embroider onto paper towels and toilet papers, is it purely for the presentation of an embroidered gift?
I tried to do some research on why people would want to embroider on paper towels and toilet paper but no real answer came up as to why people embroider them.

Like a bouquet of fresh flowers, or fancy gift-wrapping… ephemera is precious. Also, some people have too much time on their hands.
