How to Make a Burlap Tree with Plastic Canvas

June 8, 2022 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Stitching is not the only thing you can do with plastic canvas.  Did you know you could make a fun tree with it too?  I do now because of this tutorial from The Shabby Tree. Whata fun and unique idea. I don’t know about you, but there is always some extra plastic canvas sitting around my craft room, and I’m always looking for ways to use it up.

This tutorial is has detailed step-by-step instructions and plenty of photographs with tips on them to help you out.  This is an easy project that almost anyone should be able to do.  I love it!

This tree is not just for Christmas.  Display it all year round and at the holidays add a red ribbon to give it a festive feeling.
