How to Make a Hand Embroidered Polka Dot Christmas Tree

November 23, 2022 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Here’s unique pattern for a hand embroidered Christmas tree.  It is brought to you by the Spruce Crafts and best of all it is a free.

There is no tutorial with the pattern, so it is a design best suited to a hand embroiderer with some experience.  However it is so unique. It would make a lovely design on a canvas or even as  special holiday card.

The pattern is downloadable.  It uses a wrapped stitch as well as a woven rose. The red dots are french knots.

Standard hand embroidery supplies are needed.  I like the way a variety of greens are used in the example.  It gives the tree more interest.  I also really love the red ornaments (or maybe berries).

You can find this free pattern here: Polka Dot Tree
