How to Make a Rainbow Bricks Needlepoint Ornament

October 15, by Claudia Porter. Leave a Comment

Here’s a small needlepoint project that really packs a graphic punch!  It’s a rainbow design from Nuts About Needlepoint.

Complete with a detailed stitch chart and color instructions, you can stitch this up in time for the holidays or any other special occasion.  The design uses the Cashmere stitch.  If you are not familiar with it, there is a brief explanation in the article.

This canvas is an ideal project for all of that left over yarn you have from years of needlepointing.  There are a lot of colors to get the rainbow effect, but not a lot of yarn is needed for each color.

Reading through the instructions, it may not be the most ideal project for an absolute beginner, but with the detailed instructions, most of you should not have a problem with it.
