How to Turn Hand Embroidery Into a Patch

October 11, 2021 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Show off that beautiful embroidered piece you just made by turning it into a patch and putting it on a wearable item.  You can learn how with the helpful tutorial from Jessica Long Embroidery.

The article shows you all of the items that you will need, and the steps it will take, to transform you needlework.   There are detailed instructions along with photos so that the process is not as difficult as one might assume.

This would be a great way to jazz up an old jean jacket or maybe a child’s clothing item.  Can you imagine all of the pretty designs you could come up with?

I like the peacock feather in the photo, but unfortunately there is not link to that pattern.  However if you embroider, then I am pretty sure you have some designs that you could use.
