Stitch these nine 7-count plastic canvas pieces to experience the warmth and splendor of the Indian Southwest. Make a 19 1/2″ x 14″ wall hanging, a 5″ x 7 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ bear accent, 4 1/2″ square coasters with a 2 1/2″ x 6″ x 4 1/4″ turtle holder, and many other things.
The Southwest Indians are Native Americans who traditionally lived in what is now the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Southwest design is influenced by the culture of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
All are constructed with worsted-weight yarn and have pony beads, feathers, leather, and metallic cord accents.
Diane T. Ray created the design.
