I got this sweet note from Arlene White:
Fibers and Fabrics my craft group that I am a member of here in Townsville, Queensland, Australia has a challenge each year. Late last year we were given an object and from it we were to transform it into something else. The object was a tax book. I have started on my challenge project and wanted to share.
Curious, I immediately clicked over to her blog, having no idea what to expect. What I found: a gorgeous beaded stumpwork beetle, a fabulous beaded shisha lizard, and a dimensional tree with so much detail that I was hunting for an “enlarge” button so I could study it more closely. You’ve got to see this stuff! Go to Arlene’s blog post.
