I bought Candace Kling’s book when it was first published. I absolutely love it. It has been a constant source of inspiration for me and my sweet pea design came about as a result of playing with her techniques.
So it was a lovely surprise today to come across this blog and see photos taken by Susan. Gorgeous gorgeous work – the samples are a work of art themselves!

I have been trying to make the rose in hgtv by Candice Kling and cannot understand the instructions as written. Are they incomplete or can they be made more simple?

Hi, Carole! Your best bet may be to contact HGTV or Ms. Kling directly. But, readers, if you have suggestions for Carole, please speak up and post them here!

    Hi Carole,
I wish HGTV would release all those great episodes. I was on at lease 8 times.
Contact me (email is on my website). I’ll send you a page from a vinage book that explains it pretty well.
I hope I see you in a class one of these days!
