Check out this awesome crazy-quilt block by Lorraine of Creative Daily. It’s so well composed and detailed, it’s hard to pick out favorite techniques; but you know I will. I especially love the row of green silk-ribbon buds, the vine of tiny French-knot flowers, and the partial embroidery of the red flowers that made it possible to extend the design beyond the patch. *happy sigh* See more at the blog post.
