Inspiration: Lyric Kinard

This gorgeous series of mini art quilts by Lyric Kinard is perfectly titled Family Ties. Close examination reveals the themes that harmonize the pieces, yet each is a distinct individual. A family, indeed. The series has been accepted into the Studio Art Quilt Associates exhibition, A Sense of Scale, so it will be on display at the International Quilt Festivals this year.
