Inspiration: Penny Nickels

When stitchers hear the word shisha, we usually think of the traditional embroidery technique in which small mirrors are attached to fabric within a frame of stitches. Penny Nickels of Donkeywolf blog has taken shisha embroidery to a whole new level, creating fiber art that uses stitching to attach objects ranging from sand-dollar shells to fetishes to seed pods.
