Oh, my goodness. I’ve never before seen a temari with anything other than an obvious, straight-sided, geometric design. But Jane of World Embroideries has produced this gorgeous swirl temari that fools the eye. She says,
If you follow the longest thread on each section, you can see the hexagon and diamond divisions that form the basis of the design…You stitch the hexagons, and then the diamonds, and the diamonds stick out like a sore thumb before getting covered.
