Kit review: Miss Woolly’s Mini Cross-Stitch

April 6, 2009 by Denise Felton 6 Comments

bookHere’s a gift any little girl or beginning cross-stitcher will love. Miss Woolly’s Mini Cross-Stitch kit by Eliza Edwards has everything you need to get started: 6 small pieces of Aida cloth, 6 skeins of embroidery floss, 2 needles, and — the real jewel of the kit — a book of 12 charts for the cutest little patterns you ever saw. Even better, the book offers suggestions for how to use the finished embroidery and instructions for completing those crafts. Even the packaging rocks: The kit comes in a sturdy little box with a small window, which will be ideal for a craft project when the kit is empty. At US $12.95 retail, the price is right, too. The kit is recommended for age 12 and up. It goes on sale at Barnes & Noble this week. Check it out.
