The needle art world lost two well-loved leaders recently.

Judy Harper, needlepoint matriarch, died February 28. Her obituary is posted on the home page of her web site.

Lisa Roswell, the designer behind The Primitive Needle, also died February 28 when her car was swept away by flood waters. Maria of The Stitcherhood has posted links to news about this tragedy.
