Lynette Andreason‘s MFA thesis exhibition took place this month, and the photos (not to mention the originality of the work) will rock you. You probably already know Lynette for her embroidery on metal. I love the contrast between the rigid metal and the silky fibers, and I’m fascinated by the idea of stitching on a solid surface. But whether or not you’re an art lover, Lynette’s work is delicious eye candy that will draw you close to the monitor for study and fill your heart with retail lust. Enjoy the first set of photos today, shot on site at the exhibition by Josh White. Lynette promises to post more images tomorrow.
