Deepa Balagopal of This and that blog has posted a new tutorial for this beautiful variation on Pachis-work embroidery, an Indian stitching technique. As Deepa pointed out in an earlier tutorial, “There’s nothing new in the type of stitches used. In fact, most of the Indian embroidery uses common stitches known to the world – it is how they are incorporated into the fabric that makes the Indian Embroidery styles unique.” See the tutorial.
