SharonB has posted two especially beautiful works lately. From her For the Love of Stitching band sampler, Band 345 includes flowers created in padded detached chain stitch and vines of couched novelty yarn. (I’ll definitely be fiddling with couching some novelty yarns after seeing this.) And from her lace crazy quilt, Block 6 takes my breath away with its profuse variety in a controlled composition. Art. Period.
