I keep stumbling around, trying to find a way to describe Nicki Lee’s hand-dyed laces, but words fail me. Look at the image, instead. In fact, go to her blog, Nicki Lee’s RavioLee Dreams, and look at all of the images. So far, I haven’t found a link to an Etsy shop or other online venue for Nicki, but her blog post says these exquisite laces are for sale. (I can’t believe they aren’t all snapped up by crazy-quilters before they even have a chance to dry.) Nicki’s lace and motifs are beautiful…each piece that she dyes is a work of art…the color are so perfect for each petal and each stem she does on all her flowers…there really arent enough words to describe how breathtaking they are !!!!!!!
You’re right. Having seen her work in person -it is absolutely beautiful. She lives in a nearby state and is a bonafide crazy quilter. Aren’t those colors gorgeous?
I am a customer and i would like to share that Nickilee is fantastic. I have ordered/purchased from her on quite a few occasions and i am never let down and always surprised. From the first order i placed i was impressed right from the get go. She is friendly, personable, courteous, timely and i think that compared to other people i have purchased from her laces/dyes are quality and beautiful. The turn around time is fantastic. I always receive my order in under 7 days! Her laces do not fade, they’re heat set and they’re not cheap lace. Quality, quality, quality.
Her dying skills are absolutely impeccable and i have found myself purchasing for a specific project and almost having a hard time parting with the pieces!
I give her 5 stars and i look forward to purchasing more from her soon. I was thrilled to find her written up here, i peruse here often!

Dying and collecting lace has become quite a passion with me over the past couple years and I am so grateful for all the support and wonderful emails I have received. I love color and love to play with mixing it up. I’ve recently learned that the color yellow is beautiful and now I soon hope that I will finally be able to add the color orange my list of likes too!
