Julie’s X Stitch site has a new, free online tool that cross-stitchers will love. Julie notes on her blog, “Thanks to Yarn Tree, we have just added a great new tool to our cross stitch website called a fabric calculator. You just enter information like the graph size, the fabric count you are using, the number of threads each cross stitch has to cover, and how many inches you would like for a border on your cross stitch. The fabric calculator will tell you the size of fabric you will need, the needle size suggested for your fabric count and the number of threads you should use for cross stitches and outlining.” Try the Cross Stitch Calculator.
