Rachel wins! Rachel wins!

March 21, 2011 by Denise Felton 3 Comments

WooooHOOOOO! I just love it when passion and talent are rewarded.

Rachel Hobson (Average Jane Crafter) won the “2D Original” category of the Etsy and NASA Spacecraft Contest with her High Texture Hand Embroidery of the Moon. From more than 600 entries, judges chose three category winners and one grand prize winner to receive some nifty Etsy and NASA merchandise and–more important to Rachel–an opportunity for their work to be flown into space aboard a shuttle.

Get a bit a context from an earlier post about Rachel’s entry. Then see the Etsy announcement.
