Helen at Bustle & Sew is previewing some of her Christmas designs in her latest blog and I just love her idea for a Christmas tree done in three hoops – you have to check it out. But those patterns aren’t ready for prime time yet, so she reaches back in the archive to pull out this robins applique pattern to share with us. It is a fun design with nine plump robins. Two of them are making eyes at each other – how sweet! I think you could adapt this design to hand embroidery if you aren’t in to applique – what do you think?
