Semi-tutorial: Photo to embroidery pattern

Andrea Zuill (aka badbird) gives us a glimpse of her process as she works from photograph to embroidered portrait. She says, “I try not make an exact copy of the original photograph, but  my own personal interpretation. I’ve added flowers to this piece which will add color and I just like stitching  flowers.” See more at Andrea’s blog post.
