Share with Texas stitchers

Shari Jensen dropped us a note to let us know that the Stitchmap Yahoo Group is collecting needlework items to share stash and hope with stitchers of eastern Texas who lost their homes in recent fires. She says,

There is a 2 phase plan in place and they are asking for help from concerned needleworkers who would like to help. The effort will help dozens of women already identified by local churches, quilt shops and Stitchmap members to rebuild their stash and have the solace that working with a needle and thread brings to a weary person after a day of dealing with insurance agents and the other agencies that are trying to oversee the rebuilding of the area.
