Share your stitchy story

December 22, 2011 by Denise Felton 2 Comments

Janet Perry of Nuts About Needlepoint is putting together a collection of stories about needlepoint, and she invites you to submit your story for consideration. She says,

Don’t worry if you aren’t a professional writer, a great story is better than great writing!

If you have a great needlepoint story, I’d like to consider it for the book. The stories should be lively and attractive, ranging from the hilarious to the thoughtful, from the practical to the poetic, and from the spiritual to the wickedly mischievous.

Find out more, including the submission deadline, at Janet’s blog post.

The deadline was October 2007! This blog republishes old posts a bit indiscriminately amidst the new posts so things like this pop up quite often.

Oh, my goodness! You’re right, Wendy. I totally didn’t notice the deadline. The post on Janet’s site is dated December 20, 2011, but it must have been republished somehow. My apologies.
