Sharing the stitchy love

December 29, 2011 by Denise Felton 5 Comments

I’m always excited by news that we’ve lured someone new into our stitchy world. So it gave me joy to get a note from Salma of Beautifully Sewn, sharing her first “serious” embroidery project. When she saw our post about a steampunk pattern that was available free from Urban Threads, she grabbed the image and gave it a try. I think you’ll agree that her work, shown above, is so lovely, it’s hard to imagine that this is her first attempt. Well done! Learn more about Salma from her blog.
