Sometimes an embroidery design jumps out at you, and that is what happened when I saw this “Spooky” Halloween hand embroidery pattern from Floss and Hoop Shop. One doesn’t often see a dark grey background in hoop art, but it is perfect for this design. That color really shows off the pattern.
This piece would be a lovely gift for someone, or keep it for yourself. One of the people who commented even shared a picture of this pattern on a t-shirt. I’m not sure how that would hold up in the wash, but wow does it look awesome.
This pattern has so many whimsical design elements. You’ll find candy corn, bats, pumpkins, the moon and fall leaves, all set against a night sky. It is a truly striking design.
Designed to use a 6″ hoop, it is a beginner to intermediate level easy pattern. The designer also mentions that the pattern would also work for a 5″ or 7″ hoop as well.
