Thank you Denise. What a great idea. I sure do miss you covering cross stitch also. You CONSTANTLY supplied us with patterns from all over the place. Always something new.
Adorable! So creative! Do you have the instructions and pattern for this? Thanks!
I’m sorry, Valerie, I don’t. I just thought it was cool that someone figured out we could stitch on these purses.

Thank you Denise! Do have another question – on your purse the perforations seem to make a square design, easy to insert your crosses, however, on the sites to purchase the handbag the perforations do not form a perfect square – any suggestions for stitching if unable to form a perfect cross-stitch? How was yours done? Wonder why the differential, or is it just the photos? THANK YOU!!! I also just noticed there are smaller sizes of the perforated Mason bags so for those you can’t afford the $148 price tag there is a $108 dollar version and an $80 mini version! whoohoo!
I didn’t answer clearly, Valerie. Totally my fault. The purse is not my work in any way. I was just reporting on a post by Bari Ackerman on her We Love French Knots blog. Just follow the link in my story to Bari’s blog, where you can contact her directly. I think she was just reporting, too, so she may not have a lot of advice to share. The Fossil bags were not created specifically to be stitched on, so using them that way probably takes a bit of improvisation. Sorry I can’t be more help.
