Prick and Stitch is my Craft is featuring a simple stitching project that moms of home-schooled kids (or bored-on-a-rainy-day kids) are going to love. The project is shown as the base for a calendar, but the pattern could easily work as a greeting card or even wall art. DJ, the blog’s author, says,
The simple pattern is marked up with a pencil and ruler so will help children practice measuring skills and demonstrate how a curve can be created by a number of straight lines. It is stitched with knitting wool and a large darning needle so is suitable for youngish children.
