I would love to win this for the ladies where I work. It is a 50 bed custodial care facility. It is running low on craft items.

I love stitching because when I can take my time for craft, I am free, and it’s a real quality time of my own. I produce something from nothing (although new threads are beautiful themselves). Every time I look at my finished crafts, I enjoy – as I remember what I was thinking of doing it, and I can see a nice picture.
My granny was a professional stitcher. She embroidered full-size banners and portraits. She used a lot of red color, and it was a pain as she was allergic to red dye.
My other granny made wonderful embroidered tablecloths for 12 persons – just for fun!
