This beautiful woven sunflower stitch from Pumora caught my eye immediately and I knew that I had to bring it to you. Just look at all of the detail in both the center and the petals.
This is definitely not a project for beginner stitcher as there are a number of steps to achieving that lovely look. However, the video tutorial guides your through the process and you too can make one of these pretty flowers.
Look closely and you will see that the pink petals are free floating, attached only at the base. Not only do you get the woven look, you get some added dimension. If you are working on a design with lots of flowers, this would be an ideal addition.
