Judy Heim‘s tutorial has been available for several years; but if you haven’t yet tried printing needlepoint canvases with your home printer, her advice will be fresh and new to you. One of the most important problems to overcome in using home-printed canvases is keeping the ink from rubbing off or bleeding onto the needlepoint fibers. Judy’s answer: “Pretreat the canvas with colorless stenciling ink before you print on it, then heat-set it.” You can get all the details on Judy’s site, Cats Who Quilt.
