Cyn of Cyn Stitches has great advice for documenting your needlework projects via an electronic stitching journal. Detailed notes and abundant photographs give her a complete record of each completed piece. I’m thinking this would be handy, not just for the satisfaction of being able to see the volume of work you’ve completed, but also as a reference for creating similar works, an idea generator (from seeing works juxtaposed), and even as a tax record for works donated to charities. Cyn includes an example of a journal entry to get you started. Just copy it into your word processing program. See the post.
A thousand thanks to Janet Perry of Nuts About Needlepoint for pointing out this excellent item.
