Thank you so much… I had quickly added the bird to my Pinterest board of “birds to stitch” and I just realized it was a tutorial for embroidery slips!! –I joined the newsletter and really happy– I added this pin to my embroiderycross stitch guides board. but left it in my birds board too. 🙂 I have been embroidering for decades and never came across this term although I have known of it.
