Tutorial: Framing in a flexi-hoop

You know those handy little flexi-hoops? The ones with a grooved plastic inner ring and a stretchy rubbery outer ring? Let’s say you want to hoop a small work for hanging, but you don’t like the plasticky-rubbery look of the hoop as a finished frame. Here’s a great fix: Wrap the outer hoop with fabric, ribbon, or twill tape! Gabi shows us how in her tutorial on Feeling Stitchy. Her tute shows all the steps for making a small hoop for jewelry, but the steps work just as well for finishing a piece for display.
