Noreen Crone-Findlay of Hankering for Yarn blog has come up with a technique for making Cluny knots using a potholder loom, a tatting shuttle, and a couple of binder clips! Better yet, she’s sharing this technique through a video tutorial that makes the whole process seem simple. Noreen says a Cluny knot is “a little woven circle or leaf shape that you can weave individually, and insert in tatting, crochet, knitting, weaving, embroidery, freeform, jewelry making, scrapbooking or whatever.” See the video on Noreen’s blog.
