We forked. We talked. We rocked.

September 13, 2011 by Denise Felton 5 Comments

Saturday was BIG. CraftGossip held its first-ever Craft Bloggers Meet-up in my home town, Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. Four of us CG editors were on hand to share the fun: (pictured left to right) Stacie Hooder, jewelry making; Denise Felton (me!), needlework; Scarlett Burroughs, quilting; and Anne Weaver, sewing. (Yes, we wear exotic hats all the time!)

EKSuccess sponsored a fab lunch at an awesome restaurant and abundant crafty joy. They supplied such a wealth and variety of craft supplies, we and our 20 bloggy guests were overwhelmed. Check out our group post about the day’s events. You can also get different points of view from Stacie’s post and Anne’s post. And we’d love for you to check out the flickr group of photos of the fun.

A million thanks to EKSuccess, CraftGossip network, and the rockin crafty women who came to play. You made this event unforgettable.

I’ve heard a rumor that CraftGossip is planning similar events for other cities. If there’s a meet-up near you, be sure to join us. You won’t regret it!

Denise–it was thrilling to be at “your” table (and really, we were the BEST table!) and getting to know you. You gals were such gracious, down-to-earth hostesses and I had a ball! It makes me wish I could be part of your girls crafty-clique! Thanks for such an awesome event and hum, maybe a knitting company will put on a similar event in Little Rock! 🙂 Lisa

I had so much fun, even if I was an hour late! I also made some great contacts and plan to meet up with a couple of ladies I met in Ft. Smith in a few weeks.
    And the swag bags…AWESOME!
