What is floche?

August 4, by Denise Felton. 2 Comments

A wide variety of thread types are available for hand-embroidery, and each produces a different effect. Mary Corbet at Needle ‘n’ Thread blog clues us in on the differences among the three most common cotton threads (stranded, perle, and floche) and offers tips on their applications. As always, Mary makes it all so clear and simple. Now I want floche in every color! Check out the article.

    Thanks, Denise, for the blurb!

I WANT FLOCHE IN EVERY COLOR, TOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I did order a few colors recently from Hedgehog. Their little 1.25 packets are perfect – you get a good enough amount for a nice project, and you can order quite a few colors without breaking the budget!

    Best,
    Mary
