My granddaughter is the light of my life. She’s always been so full of energy and happiness, and I love spending time with her. Recently, she asked me if I could make her a special backpack for a sleepover party she’s going to with her friends.
I told her I would be happy to, and set to work right away. I knew she wanted a unicorn backpack, so I got to work on designing one that would be perfect for her. I found the perfect fabric and got to work stitching it all together.
It was so much fun seeing her face light up when she saw the finished unicorn bag. The Birthday girls mother heard about the bag and asked me to make one for every girl at the party. I had just 3 weeks. I couldn’t make 25 bags from scratch in that time so I bought some plain ones from target to use as the blank base. Then I knew that using my embroidery machine would be the perfect way to make them special with a unicorn.
The process was so quick and easy, and I was able to make all 25 backpacks in no time. My grandchild was so thrilled with the final result. She said they were even better than she could have imagined. It was such a fun and special project to work on, and I’m so glad I was able to bring a little bit of magic to the party.
