I was immediately intrigued when I saw this blog post from Radiant Home Studio. It incorporates fabric and embroidery to make these darling envelopes. Using a clutch envelope pattern from See Kate Sew, the artist has transformed them into these whimsical pieces.
Each envelope is given its own personality with various scraps of fabric embroidered onto them with different stitches.
With the exception of making the envelopes which require a pattern, this embroidery would definitely be a fun project for people who enjoy improv work. They could be tailored to any person or occasion.
Just imagine making one for a friend or family member’s birthday. You could tuck a little bit of cash or a gift card into it and your gift would definitely be the hit of the party. Even better, add a piece of jewelry into the envelope for a real wow.
