A little while back I posted a link to a tutorial demonstrating how to make embroidered pendants. This idea from Cutesy Crafts is another idea for that tiny embroidery. It is for metal bookmarks
, and it is a lovely project.
You will need to download the designer’s free pattern and there are some special supplies needed to make these. However, all of the information you need is found in the tutorial. There is even a link to the maker’s video showing you the entire process.
Fair warning here, these are pretty small so keep that in mind. I know that I’ll need my good readers to make these.
These bookmarks are a terrific idea for the book lover in your life, or for yourself. They would make lovely stocking stuffers or a Mother’s Day gift. Throw one (or a few) into a gift bag with a nice book and you have a perfect birthday gift.
