Embroidered Mother’s Day Card Tutorial

May 2, 2021 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

For a unique Mother’s Day card, why not try making an embroidered one? This tutorial from How About Orange will show you how.  Your mother would love to get a pretty handmade card like this one and it would have extra special meaning.

This is not a difficult project, you just need a little bit of time.  The article has a link to the downloadable pattern which has a photo step-by-step guide to the various stitches used.  The stitches include the backstitch and french knots, so it is not too difficult.

I have been around a long time and my mother still has a lot of the things I made for her.  I am guessing that any mother who receives one of these lovely cards will treasure it for many years to come.

It is pretty enough to frame too.
