I have to admit that I am kind of in love with these plushwork (or Amish stumpwork or Chenille) flowers from Feeling Stitchy. They have so much great texture and are downright fun to look at.
The tutorial is a bit short on words, but it makes up for it with the beautiful detailed photos which guide you through the entire process. You will be a pro at making these chenille flowers in no time.
No special tools are needed to get started. You even make your own templates. I like the way the author has shown two different sizes as well as color variations. Personally, I really like the addition of a second color.
