Hanna of iHanna’s Creative Space gives us a detailed look at her mixed-media work, Fly photo over an Inner Landscape. She says,
I love this name! It goes so well with what I see in this embroidery; myself. The winding roads that my mind takes, with its creative ideas and bits of hesitation, passion, joy and mindfulness.
Hanna started with white cotton fabric, which she painted with acrylics; embroidered with thousands of hand stitches; and embellished with ribbons, laces, a plastic net bag, various fabrics, and fabric paint. The resulting surface is richly tactile and coherent. See lots of stunning close-up photos on Hanna’s blog.
