Fascinating because, when I lived in Beijing 14-15 years ago, you couldn’t find supplies for needlework at all, anywhere. There was lots of antique needlework on sale (we have quite a bit of it, in fact) but I had to order my threads and fabrics via catalog from the US and the UK!
